I’m thankful for where I was placed in Thailand. Wichianburi, Phetchabun. Prior to coming over here last October, I tried to do all my research about the province, but I couldn’t find anything online/Google. So, I guessed right: very rural, open space, big landscapes. The only thing I knew about Phetchabun was it’s nickname: Little Switzerland—because the weather is much cooler since it’s north of Bangkok. Although Wichian has it’s hotttt days, cool mornings and evenings balance it all out perfectly.
